Tovana

Terms of Use

Last updated: October 27, 2026 · Privacy Policy

Tovana ("the app") is a daily wisdom practice developed by Ezra Halevi ("we", "us"). These terms are written to be read, not to hide behind legalese. By using Tovana you agree to them.

What Tovana is

One idea a day — quotes, practices, and reflections drawn from psychology, philosophy, and spiritual traditions, with a private journal for what they stir in you. It is a tool for reflection.

What Tovana is not

Tovana is not therapy, medical care, or professional advice. The ideas in the app are educational and reflective. If you are struggling, please reach out to a qualified professional — the app is a companion to a considered life, not a substitute for care.

Your content

What you write and record in Tovana is yours. It stays on your device, and you are responsible for it — including keeping your backup file and its password safe. If you lose a backup password, nobody can recover that backup, including us.

The cards and their authors

The wisdom on the cards comes from thinkers past and present, quoted and attributed with respect. The app's design, writing, and software are ours. Quotes remain the intellectual heritage of their authors and are used for education and commentary. You may share the app's share-cards freely — that's what they're for.

Fair use of the app

Don't try to break, copy, resell, or misrepresent the app. That's the whole rule.

No warranties, limited liability

Tovana is provided as-is. We work hard to make it reliable, but we can't promise it will always be free of errors. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights that your local law grants you and that cannot be waived.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that matters, the "Last updated" date will change and the app will point to the new version.
