Privacy Policy — Tend

Last updated: 2 July 2026

Tend (“the app”) is a calm weekly planner developed by Ezra Halevi (“we”, “us”). This policy explains exactly what Tend does and doesn’t do with your information. It is written to be read, not to hide behind legalese.

The short version

Tend is built privacy-first. It keeps your plans on your device. It has no analytics, no tracking, no ads, and no account. The only time any information leaves your phone is when you choose to send feedback. We never sell or share your data.

What stays on your device

Everything you create in Tend — your tasks, repeating tasks, weekly reflections, and all settings — is stored only on your device (in the app’s local storage). We have no server and no copy of it. If you uninstall Tend, this data is deleted from the device. One note: if you use Android’s own backup, your device may keep a copy of your tasks in your personal Google backup — that copy belongs to your Google account, never to us, and you can remove it in your device’s backup settings.

Your calendar

If you grant calendar permission, Tend reads your device calendar so it can show your events next to your tasks. This happens entirely on your device. Your calendar events are never transmitted to us or anyone else, and never stored by Tend — they are read and displayed, nothing more. Tend requests read-only calendar access and can never change or delete your calendar. You can decline or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings; Tend keeps working without it.

Feedback you choose to send

Tend has an optional “Send feedback” screen. It does nothing unless you write a message and tap Send. When you do, the following is sent to the developer through Telegram (a third-party messaging service) so we can read and act on your feedback:

That’s the complete list. We do not attach your tasks, your calendar, your usage history, or any identifier beyond the above. If you never use the feedback screen, nothing ever leaves your device.

Purchases

Tend offers a one-time unlock after a 14-day free trial. Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play; we never see or receive your payment-card details. Tend stores only a local flag recording that the app is unlocked. Google’s handling of your purchase is governed by Google’s own privacy policy.

What we do NOT do

Permissions, briefly

Data retention and deletion

Your in-app data lives on your device and is removed when you uninstall Tend (a copy may remain in your own Google backup, under your control — see “What stays on your device”). Feedback you sent has already been delivered to the developer; to request that we delete feedback you sent us (and any reply email you provided), contact us at the address below and we will delete it. If you’re offline when you tap Send, the feedback is sent the next time you open Tend with a connection.

Children

Tend is a general-purpose productivity app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how Tend handles information, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above.
